The Computer Operator is responsible for managing and monitoring computer systems, ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software, performing data entry, maintaining records, and supporting day-to-day IT and administrative functions. The role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and security in data processing and system operations.
Operate and monitor computer systems, printers, and peripheral equipment.
Perform data entry, data processing, and record maintenance accurately.
Manage and organize files, databases, and digital records.
Ensure timely backup of data and maintain data security.
Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
Assist in generating reports, spreadsheets, and documentation as needed.
Coordinate with IT staff for system updates, maintenance, and technical issues.

High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Computer Operator, Data Entry Operator, or similar role.
Basic knowledge of computer systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
