Job Overview

A Restaurant Telecaller is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls related to customer inquiries, reservations, delivery orders, and promotional campaigns. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, increasing sales through effective communication, and maintaining customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Interaction

    • Handle incoming calls for table reservations, delivery orders, or general inquiries.

    • Make outbound calls to promote offers, discounts, or new menu items.

    • Record and confirm customer orders accurately.

    • Provide information about the restaurant s menu, pricing, and operating hours.

  2. Sales and Promotion

    • Upsell or cross-sell menu items during calls.

    • Contact existing customers to inform them about special deals or loyalty programs.

    • Maintain a customer database and track follow-ups for marketing campaigns.

  3. Coordination and Record Keeping

    • Coordinate with the kitchen, delivery, and front-of-house teams to ensure order accuracy and timely service.

    • Maintain call logs and customer details in CRM or order management software.

    • Report daily call summaries, sales data, and customer feedback to the supervisor or manager.

  4. Customer Service

    • Address and resolve customer complaints politely and efficiently.

    • Ensure a positive customer experience during every interaction.
