Job Summary

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, guiding team members, and ensuring that organizational goals, quality standards, and productivity targets are met. This role involves training staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and resolving operational issues while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Management

    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members.

    • Schedule, assign, and monitor work to ensure efficient operations.

    • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.

    • Train new employees and support ongoing staff development.

  • Operations & Workflow

    • Ensure daily tasks are completed according to standards and deadlines.

    • Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes as needed.

    • Enforce company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.

  • Performance & Quality Control

    • Review and evaluate work output to ensure quality and accuracy.

    • Maintain and improve productivity levels.

    • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Communication & Reporting

    • Serve as a point of contact between employees and management.

    • Communicate goals, updates, and expectations clearly to the team.

    • Prepare reports on team performance, issues, and operational updates.

  • Problem-Solving

    • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts professionally.

    • Troubleshoot operational problems and recommend solutions.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make informed decisions.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific processes and safety standards (if applicable).

  • Proficiency with basic computer systems or software used in the organization.
