The Sales & Export Manager is responsible for developing and managing international sales operations, identifying new export markets, and building relationships with overseas clients and distributors. The role ensures the achievement of export sales targets, compliance with international trade regulations, and effective coordination between production, logistics, and finance teams to fulfill export orders efficiently.
Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
Identify and explore new international markets, clients, and business opportunities.
Manage and expand relationships with existing overseas customers, distributors, and agents.
Prepare and negotiate export contracts, pricing, and terms of trade (Incoterms).
Coordinate with production, logistics, and documentation teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment.
Ensure compliance with export laws, customs regulations, and documentation requirements.
Conduct market research to monitor global trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business meetings.
Prepare periodic sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.
Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor payment collections and assist in resolving financial or credit-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of export transactions, pricing, and client communications.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Experience: 5–10 years of experience in export sales, international marketing, or global business development.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of international trade practices, export documentation, and logistics.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Understanding of Incoterms, LC (Letter of Credit), and export finance procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
Ability to analyze market trends and develop entry strategies.
Fluency in English (additional foreign language skills are an advantage).
