Job Summary:

The Counter Sales Executive is responsible for assisting customers at the sales counter, promoting products, processing sales transactions, and providing excellent customer service. The role involves maintaining product knowledge, handling cash or billing systems, and ensuring the counter area is organized and presentable at all times.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and identify their needs promptly and professionally.

  • Provide information about products, prices, and promotions.

  • Process customer sales transactions (cash, card, or digital payments).

  • Issue invoices, receipts, and handle returns or exchanges.

  • Maintain product displays and ensure the counter area is clean and well-stocked.

  • Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.

  • Keep records of sales and inventory levels.

  • Upsell and cross-sell products to increase revenue.

  • Coordinate with the stockroom or suppliers for product availability.

  • Meet daily/weekly sales targets.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor s degree a plus).

  • Proven experience in retail or counter sales.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic computer and billing software knowledge.

  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

  • Positive attitude and customer-oriented approach.

  • Team player with good time management skills.
