Job Summary:
The Quality Control Officer for Ferro Alloys is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company s quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting tests, analyzing results, and implementing corrective actions to maintain product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular sampling and testing of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished ferro alloy products.
Analyze chemical composition using laboratory instruments (e.g., spectrometers, XRF, ICP) and metallurgical testing equipment.
Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain accurate QC records, test reports, and quality documentation.
Identify deviations or defects and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
Work closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industry quality standards (ISO, ASTM, BIS, or company-specific standards).
Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures, standards, and improvement initiatives.
Train operators and staff on quality procedures and best practices.
Support audits by internal and external agencies, including customer inspections.
Qualifications & Experience:
BE/BTech Or BSc/MSc
Minimum [X] years of experience in quality control in ferro alloys, steel, or related metallurgical industries
Interview, Any, 1 - 2 year experince, Diploma.
