INVENTORY (Production executive)

The Production executive oversees the manufacturing process to ensure that production runs efficiently, safely, on time, and within budget. They coordinate production activities, manage staff, maintain quality standards, and optimize processes to meet company goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Planning & Scheduling

    • Develop and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts and deadlines.

    • Allocate resources (labor, materials, and equipment) efficiently.

    • Ensure optimal workflow and minimize downtime.

  2. Team Management

    • Supervise production staff, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.

    • Train, motivate, and evaluate team performance.

    • Enforce health and safety regulations on the production floor.

  3. Process & Quality Control

    • Monitor production processes and implement improvements for efficiency.

    • Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

    • Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to resolve product issues.

  4. Budgeting & Cost Control

    • Manage production budgets and track expenses.

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

    • Maintain inventory control and reduce waste.

  5. Coordination & Communication

    • Liaise with procurement, engineering, logistics, and sales teams.

    • Communicate production updates, issues, and performance reports to management.

    • Support new product launches and process transitions.

  6. Compliance & Safety

    • Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and company safety standards.

    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge

  • Budgeting and cost management
