Job Summary

The Caf Steward is responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting guests, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting caf operations. This role ensures a pleasant dining experience through prompt service, hygiene, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers politely and assist with seating when required

  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or counter

  • Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner

  • Ensure tables, chairs, and service areas are clean and well-organized

  • Clear used dishes and reset tables quickly

  • Assist in basic food preparation when required

  • Handle bills and assist with payments if assigned

  • Follow hygiene, safety, and food-handling standards

  • Support kitchen and service staff during busy hours

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience in a caf , restaurant, or hospitality role is an advantage

  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
