The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering excellent customer service. This role focuses on beverage preparation, cleanliness, and creating a welcoming caf experience.
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other caf equipment
Take customer orders accurately and process payments when required
Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and service area
Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of beverages
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
Follow food safety, hygiene, and caf standards
Handle customer feedback politely and professionally
Support team members during busy hours
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience as a barista or in a caf role is an advantage
Basic knowledge of coffee types and brewing methods (training can be provided)
Good communication and customer service skills
Coffee-making and machine-handling skills
Customer-focused attitude
