Job Summary

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering excellent customer service. This role focuses on beverage preparation, cleanliness, and creating a welcoming caf experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages

  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other caf equipment

  • Take customer orders accurately and process payments when required

  • Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and service area

  • Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of beverages

  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and caf standards

  • Handle customer feedback politely and professionally

  • Support team members during busy hours

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience as a barista or in a caf role is an advantage

  • Basic knowledge of coffee types and brewing methods (training can be provided)

  • Good communication and customer service skills
