**Job Title: Senior MIS Analyst / Senior MIS Executive 

 **Job Summary**

The Senior MIS professional is responsible for leading the development, management, and optimization of management information systems, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable data reporting. This role oversees data collection, analysis, automation, dashboard creation, and cross-functional reporting to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**

 **1. Reporting & Data Management**

* Develop, maintain, and automate daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
* Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all data and reporting outputs.
* Manage large data sets and create structured data models for reporting.
* Design and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

**2. Analysis & Insights**

* Analyze business data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
* Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management and departmental heads.
* Build forecasting, performance, and productivity analysis reports.

**3. System & Process Optimization**

* Improve reporting processes through automation and standardization.
* Collaborate with IT to enhance MIS systems, databases, and reporting tools.
* Identify gaps in data flow and propose solutions to fix issues.

**4. Cross-Functional Collaboration**

* Work with operations, finance, HR, sales, and leadership teams to gather requirements.
* Develop custom reports for various stakeholders as needed.
* Train team members on reporting tools or dashboards when required.

 **5. Compliance & Quality Control**

* Maintain confidentiality of data and adhere to organizational data governance policies.
* Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy before publishing reports.
* Document MIS processes, KPIs, SLAs, and reporting standards.

 **Key Skills & Competencies**

* Strong analytical and quantitative skills
* Expertise in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros), SQL, Power BI/Tableau
* Strong understanding of databases and ETL processes
* Excellent problem-solving and data interpretation skills
* Ability to manage multiple reporting priorities with accuracy
* Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
* Good communication and stakeholder management

 **Qualifications**

* Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT, Business Analytics, or related field
* 3–7+ years of experience in MIS or data analysis roles
* Experience with BI tools and database querying preferred
