Job Summary:

The Senior MIS Officer is responsible for managing, analyzing, and improving the organization’s data and information systems. The role involves developing reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support decision-making, streamline processes, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of management data across departments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and data models for management and departmental use.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various business systems (ERP, HRMS, CRM, etc.).

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

  • Automate repetitive reporting tasks using advanced Excel functions, SQL queries, or BI tools.

  • Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and correcting inconsistencies or errors.

  • Collaborate with departments to understand reporting requirements and develop customized reports.

  • Analyze operational and financial performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Support management in strategic planning and performance monitoring through data insights.

  • Coordinate with IT teams to enhance data collection systems and improve database efficiency.

  • Train junior MIS staff or end-users in report generation and data analysis tools.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all management information and data systems.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 4–7 years of experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence roles.

  • Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, Power Query, etc.).

    • Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Understanding of database structures and data management principles
