**Position Title:** Room Service Attendant / Room Server
 **Summary**

The Room Service Attendant is responsible for delivering food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and professionally while ensuring high service standards. The role includes taking room service orders, preparing trays, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional guest experiences.

 **Key Responsibilities**

**Guest Service**

* Greet guests politely and deliver food and beverage orders to rooms in a timely manner.
* Set up in-room dining tables or trays according to hotel standards.
* Attend to guest requests, questions, and special dietary needs.
* Ensure accuracy of orders before delivery.
* Handle guest complaints professionally and report issues to the supervisor.

**Order Handling**

* Answer room service calls and record orders accurately using POS/telephone systems.
* Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth coordination.
* Present bills to guests and process payments if required.
 **Operations & Cleanliness**

* Collect used trays, dishes, and trolleys from guest rooms and hallways.
* Maintain cleanliness and order of the room service area, pantries, and equipment.
* Replenish supplies such as cutlery, napkins, condiments, and service items.
* Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.

 **Team Collaboration**

* Coordinate with kitchen staff, housekeeping, and front office when needed.
* Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or shortages.
* Assist in restocking minibar items (if part of responsibilities).

**Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous hotel or F&B service experience preferred.
* Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
* Good communication skills and telephone etiquette.

* Ability to carry trays or push service trolleys safely.
