OneFitPlus fitness business was acquired by Cultfit for 300 cr in one of the largest acquisition in Direct to Customer space. Brands that were owned by OneFitPlus include Fitkit, RPM Fitness and Urban Terrain.

Build91/ OneFitPlus is run by Amit Mathur and Mohit Mathur. Amit and Mohit have worked in Amazon before founding OneFitPlus along with brands including Fitkit, RPM Fitness and Urban Terrain. Amit is an Engineer from PEC.Mohit is an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Job Description: Chartered Accountant

 Shoora Retail is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA with a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards ( e.g. Income Tax Laws, GST).  
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management.
• Taxation:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, GST, etc.).
  • Manage tax audits and assessments.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services.
• Auditing and Compliance:
  • Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Maintain proper documentation and internal controls.
• Accounting Operations:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Oversee general ledger maintenance.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation.
• Financial Management:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide financial advice and support to other departments.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Other Duties:
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards and tax laws.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
•  3 to 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards.
