Build91 is seeking an Accountant to join our growing finance team.

Build91/ OneFitPlus is a 400 crores company dealing in Ecommerce, Home Interiors, Real Estate and Logistics. OneFitPlus fitness business was acquired by Cultfit for 300 cr in one of the largest acquisition in Direct to Customer space. Brands that were owned by OneFitPlus include Fitkit, RPM Fitness and Urban Terrain.

Founders

Build91/ OneFitPlus is run by Amit Mathur and Mohit Mathur. Amit and Mohit have worked in Amazon before founding OneFitPlus along with brands including Fitkit, RPM Fitness and Urban Terrain. Amit is an Engineer from PEC.Mohit is an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Job Summary:

The Accountant will assist in various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:  

• Accounts Payable (AP):
  • Process invoices according to GST, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
  • Match purchase orders to invoices and receiving documents.
  • Prepare and process payments to vendors.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and GST.
  • File TDS
  • Respond to vendor inquiries.
• Accounts Receivable (AR):
  • Generate and send invoices to customers.
  • Record customer payments and apply them to outstanding balances.
  • Follow up on overdue payments.
  • Reconcile customer accounts.
• Reconciliations:
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • GST reconciliations
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Reporting:
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Generate and analyze various accounting reports.
• Other Duties:
  • Assist with audits.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
  • Support other accounting team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting or a related field (internships count!).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GST, TDS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential - including formulas and data analysis).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
