**Job Title:** Logistics Trainer
**Position Summary:**

The Logistics Trainer is responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering training programs for employees in the logistics and supply chain departments. The primary goal is to enhance operational efficiency, ensure safety compliance, and promote best practices in logistics management, warehousing, transportation, inventory control, and distribution.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Training Development:**

  * Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials related to logistics operations (e.g., warehouse management, transportation processes, inventory control, and safety procedures).
  * Ensure training programs meet the company s goals, compliance standards, and industry best practices.

* **Training Delivery:**

  * Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for logistics teams, including new hires and ongoing employee development.
  * Provide practical demonstrations, simulations, and hands-on training to enhance employees' skills in logistics processes.

* **Process Improvement:**

  * Continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  * Collect feedback from trainees and managers to improve training content, delivery methods, and overall impact.

* **Compliance & Safety:**

  * Ensure all training programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to logistics and workplace safety.
  * Train employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures in the logistics environment.

* **Technology Integration:**

  * Keep up-to-date with logistics technology tools (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems) and train staff on how to use these systems effectively.

* **Performance Monitoring:**

  * Monitor employee performance after training and provide feedback, coaching, and additional support where necessary.
  * Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.

* **Collaboration:**

  * Work closely with logistics managers, supervisors, and HR to understand training needs and align training programs with company objectives.
  * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop targeted training initiatives for specific operational challenges.

 **Qualifications:**

* **Education:**

  * Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  * Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Training (e.g., CLTD, APICS, TTT) is a plus.

* **Experience:**

  * 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a training or instructional role.
  * Proven ability to train and mentor employees at all levels in a logistics environment.

* **Skills:**

  * Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
  * Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  * Ability to develop training content and materials that are engaging and easy to understand.
  * Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
  * Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards (OSHA, DOT, etc.).
