Job Summary:

The Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing effective lessons that support student learning and development. The role involves creating an engaging classroom environment, maintaining discipline, and ensuring that each student receives the support needed to reach their academic potential. The Teacher collaborates with parents, staff, and administration to uphold educational standards and promote a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.

• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and activities.

• Provide individual support and feedback to help students improve.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.

• Prepare teaching materials and use a variety of instructional techniques.

• Supervise students during class, breaks, and school activities.

• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

• Ensure classroom discipline and follow school policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Education or related field (B.Ed preferred).

• Teaching certification/license as required.

• Prior teaching experience is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of subject matter and teaching methods.
