Job Summary

A Steel Plant Supervisor oversees daily production operations in a steel manufacturing facility. They ensure that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards. The supervisor manages workers, monitors equipment, and coordinates with other departments to maintain smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily steel production activities and workforce performance

• Ensure compliance with safety rules, company policies, and industry regulations

• Monitor machinery, production processes, and material usage

• Assign duties to workers and ensure proper training and guidance

• Maintain production records, reports, and shift logs

• Identify operational issues and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs

• Ensure product quality meets required standards and specifications

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)

• Experience in steel manufacturing or heavy industry preferred
