Department: Stores / Inventory / Supply Chain
Reports To: Warehouse Head / Operations Manager
To manage the overall operations of the store/warehouse, including inventory control, stock management, and team supervision, ensuring timely availability of materials and efficient utilization of resources.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
Conduct regular stock audits and physical verifications to prevent discrepancies.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination:
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely material delivery.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers for smooth operations and resolution of issues.
Verify quality and quantity of received materials.
Store Operations & Organization:
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials to prevent damage or loss.
Implement best practices in material handling, safety, and housekeeping.
Maintain proper documentation for all store activities including receipts, issues, and returns.
Team Management:
Supervise, train, and guide store staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance of store personnel.
Promote a safe and productive work environment.
Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare periodic reports on inventory levels, usage, and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Assist in audits, inspections, and inventory reconciliations.
Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
3 7 years of experience in store or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing, steel, or power plant
Interview, Any, fresher or experince, 12th pass.
