The Cashier is responsible for handling customer billing, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience in the food store. The role requires accuracy, honesty, and good customer service skills.
Greet customers and scan items accurately at the billing counter
Process cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments
Issue bills and receipts to customers
Maintain accuracy in cash handling and daily cash reconciliation
Ensure correct pricing, discounts, and offers are applied
Handle customer queries politely and professionally
Maintain cleanliness and order at the cash counter
Coordinate with store staff for billing or product issues
Follow store policies, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines
Education: Minimum 10th / 12th pass (Graduate preferred)
