Job Summary

The Cashier is responsible for handling customer billing, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience in the food store. The role requires accuracy, honesty, and good customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and scan items accurately at the billing counter

• Process cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments

• Issue bills and receipts to customers

• Maintain accuracy in cash handling and daily cash reconciliation

• Ensure correct pricing, discounts, and offers are applied

• Handle customer queries politely and professionally

• Maintain cleanliness and order at the cash counter

• Coordinate with store staff for billing or product issues

• Follow store policies, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Minimum 10th / 12th pass (Graduate preferred)
