**Job Title: Store Keeper**
**Job Summary**
The Store Keeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and managing inventory in an organized and efficient manner. This role ensures accurate stock levels, maintains proper documentation, and supports smooth warehouse/store operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Inventory Management**
* Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are always updated.
* Monitor stock availability and report shortages or discrepancies.
* Conduct regular stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile with inventory records.
**2. Receiving & Inspection**
* Receive incoming materials, supplies, and products.
* Verify quantities and quality against delivery notes, purchase orders, and invoices.
* Report damaged or incorrect deliveries to the procurement or management team.
**3. Storage & Organization**
* Store materials in designated locations following company standards.
* Ensure items are properly labeled and organized for easy retrieval.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store/warehouse area.
**4. Issuing & Dispatch**
* Prepare and issue materials based on approved requisitions.
* Ensure timely and accurate dispatching of goods.
* Maintain proper records of items issued and returned.
**5. Documentation & Reporting**
* Update stock registers, inventory software, or ERP systems.
* Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
* Assist in audits and provide documentation as required.
**6. Safety & Compliance**
* Follow safety procedures and warehouse handling protocols.
* Ensure materials are stored safely to prevent damage, accidents, or deterioration.
* Comply with company policies and industry regulations.
**Qualifications & Skills**
**Education**
* High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor s degree preferred for larger operations).
**Skills**
* Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
* Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory systems, ERP software).
* Ability to handle physical tasks (lifting, organizing, etc.).
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
**Physical Requirements**
* Ability to stand for long periods.
* Ability to lift or move moderately heavy items.
Interview, Any, 1 year experince, 12th pass.
