The Hotel Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in food service areas, supporting kitchen and service staff, and ensuring smooth food and beverage operations. The role plays a key part in delivering a pleasant dining experience to guests.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and service areas
Wash and sanitize dishes, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment
Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required
Set up and clear tables in restaurants, banquet halls, and room service areas
Ensure proper storage of food, beverages, and supplies
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP)
Dispose of waste properly and maintain garbage areas
Refill service stations with required supplies
Support waitstaff during peak service hours
Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
High school education preferred
Prior experience in hotel or restaurant service is an advantage
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long hours
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Interview, Any, fresher or experince, 10th Pass.
