The Shift Incharge is responsible for overseeing production activities during the assigned shift, ensuring smooth operations, optimal utilization of manpower and machinery, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety norms. The role involves coordinating with maintenance, quality, and planning teams to meet production targets efficiently.
Manage and supervise all production activities during the assigned shift
Ensure achievement of daily production targets as per production plan
Allocate manpower and machines effectively for optimal productivity
Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns
Ensure compliance with safety rules, procedures, and statutory requirements
Maintain product quality standards and coordinate with the Quality team
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce downtime and wastage
Maintain shift reports, production logs, and downtime records
Train, guide, and motivate operators and technicians
Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S implementation on the shop floor
Handle shift handover and communicate issues to the next shift
Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, TPM, etc.)
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery
Leadership and team-handling skills
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Basic knowledge of quality systems (ISO, IATF, etc.)
Interview, Any, 1 year experince, B.E/B.Tech.
