**Job Description: Security Service Officer**
**Position Overview**
The Security Service Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees, customers, visitors, and company property. This role involves monitoring premises, responding to incidents, enforcing security policies, and maintaining a safe environment at all times.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot or by surveillance systems.
* Control access to the facility; verify identification and manage visitor logs.
* Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
* Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or violations of company policies.
* Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
* Assist with emergency evacuations, fire drills, and safety procedures.
* Provide customer service by answering inquiries and offering assistance when needed.
* Protect company assets and ensure compliance with security protocols.
* Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
* Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies professionally and respectfully.
**Qualifications & Skills**
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Prior experience in security or related field preferred.
* Valid security license/certification (if required by local law).
* Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to remain calm and take decisive action in stressful situations.
* Basic computer skills for report writing and monitoring systems.
