Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the warehouse, goods, employees, and visitors. The role involves monitoring the premises, controlling access, preventing theft or damage, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Security & Surveillance

• Monitor entry and exit points of the warehouse/store

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety

• Keep a watch on unauthorized persons, suspicious activities, or security breaches

Access Control & Visitor Management

• Verify identity of employees, vendors, and visitors

• Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes if required

• Ensure proper authorization for goods entering or leaving the premises

Safety & Emergency Response

• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents

• Assist in fire drills, evacuation procedures, and other safety measures

• Report accidents, thefts, or damages to the supervisor

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily logs of security activities

• Report incidents and irregularities to the Security Supervisor or Management

• Assist in investigation of any theft or loss

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10th pass; training in security or related field is an advantage

• Knowledge of basic safety and emergency procedures
