Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the toll plaza premises, employees, and customers. The role involves monitoring entry and exit points, preventing unauthorized access, ensuring the safety of cash collection, and maintaining discipline and order within the toll plaza area.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all entry and exit points at the toll plaza, including toll booths, control rooms, and parking areas.

• Ensure safety of toll operators, staff, and cash collection vehicles.

• Conduct regular patrols around the toll plaza premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or damage.

• Assist in crowd and traffic control during peak hours or emergencies.

• Check and verify identity of visitors, staff, and contractors entering the toll premises.

• Respond promptly to any security breaches, alarms, or incidents.

• Report suspicious activities or persons to the Supervisor or Police if necessary.

• Assist during cash collection and transfer operations for security purposes.

• Maintain a daily logbook of all security activities and incidents.

• Ensure CCTV cameras and other security equipment are functioning properly and report malfunctions.

• Follow all company security protocols, emergency response procedures, and safety rules.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass (or equivalent).

• Prior experience as a security guard (preferably in toll operations, transport, or public areas).

• Basic knowledge of security procedures and equipment (CCTV, metal detectors, etc.).

• Physically fit and alert at all times.

• Good communication skills and ability to interact politely with public and staff.
