Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Manager will lead and drive sales efforts for the concrete batching plant, with a focus on acquiring new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and ensuring the growth of the plant's market share. The role requires strategic sales leadership, deep knowledge of the construction and concrete industry, and the ability to oversee a sales team while directly engaging with key clients and stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth for the concrete batching plant.
Identify and target new business opportunities in the construction industry, including large-scale projects, contractors, and developers.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring profitability and alignment with the company's business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, providing training and support to drive high performance.
Conduct market research to stay informed about competitors, industry trends, and potential opportunities.
Coordinate with the production, operations, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to increase visibility and establish new contacts.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sales leads, ensuring a steady flow of business.
Ensure compliance with company policies and standards while delivering excellent service to clients.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create promotional strategies and product offerings that meet market demands.
Qualifications:
Any Graduate
Experience Required-4 yrs to 15 yrs in sales management, preferably within the construction or concrete industry.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of concrete batching plants, equipment, and industry-specific needs.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to manage complex sales processes
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
