The Hotel Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for providing a warm welcome, handling reservations, managing check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring an excellent guest experience throughout their stay.
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications
Answer phone calls, emails, and online booking inquiries
Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly or escalate when necessary
Process payments, issue invoices, and manage cash/card transactions
Maintain accurate guest records and front desk documentation
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
Ensure front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable
High school diploma or equivalent (hotel management qualification preferred)
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management systems (PMS)
Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
