Job Description:
The Nursing Staff is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients by assisting doctors, administering medications, and monitoring patient health. They ensure patient comfort, maintain hygiene standards, and support the overall operations of the healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide daily care, comfort, and assistance to patients.
Medication Management: Administer prescribed medicines and injections on time.
Monitoring Health: Observe and record patients vital signs and report any changes to doctors.
Doctor Assistance: Support doctors during rounds, examinations, and medical procedures.
Emergency Handling: Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records and reports.
Hygiene Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, sterilization, and infection control in wards.
Patient Education: Guide patients and families about care, diet, and medication after discharge.
Equipment Management: Ensure medical instruments and supplies are properly maintained and available.
Team Coordination: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best care.
Qualifications:
GNM / B.Sc Nursing / ANM (as per hospital requirement)
Registered with the State Nursing Council
Basic knowledge of patient care equipment and safety procedures
