Job Summary:
The Mechanical Manager is responsible for overseeing all mechanical operations, maintenance, and projects within the plant or facility. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, reliability, and safety while supervising mechanical teams and coordinating with other departments for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise all mechanical maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

• Manage and optimize the performance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, furnaces, motors, and heavy machinery.

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.

• Supervise, mentor, and train mechanical engineers, supervisors, and technicians.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all mechanical operations.

• Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely availability of spares, tools, and consumables.

• Prepare mechanical maintenance budgets and control costs effectively.

• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive measures.

• Plan and execute mechanical projects, equipment installations, and modifications.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.

• Support management in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum [X] years of experience in mechanical maintenance and operations in a plant or industrial environment.

• Proven experience in supervising mechanical teams and managing maintenance operations.

• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
