The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery and equipment used in the production process. The role ensures that machines run efficiently, produce high-quality products, and comply with safety and quality standards.
Set up, operate, and monitor machines according to production specifications.
Load raw materials or components into machines and ensure proper alignment and calibration.
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Detect and report any mechanical or technical issues to the maintenance or engineering team.
Record production data such as output quantity, downtime, and machine performance.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
Assist in machine changeovers and setup adjustments for new production runs.
Collaborate with supervisors and quality inspectors to resolve production issues.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machine operation or mechanical trades is an advantage.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Skills:
