Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Housekeeping Staff to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within our school premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that classrooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, and other facilities are clean, organized, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, corridors, offices, and staff rooms regularly

• Sweep, mop, dust, and polish floors and furniture

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and ensure availability of essentials (soap, tissue, sanitizer)

• Dispose of waste and manage garbage collection properly

• Keep school grounds, playgrounds, and common areas tidy

• Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or reporting repairs

• Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Support school events by arranging venues and ensuring cleanliness before and after

• Report any hazards, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing skills

• Physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

• Knowledge of cleaning tools, detergents, and safety procedures is preferred
