**Job Description: Housekeeping Staff (Hotel)**
**Position Summary**
The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest service throughout the hotel. This role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned and well-maintained to create a comfortable, welcoming environment for all hotel guests.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Guest Rooms**
* Clean, sanitize, and service guest rooms according to hotel standards
* Make beds, change linens, and replace towels
* Dust furniture, clean mirrors, and vacuum/mop floors
* Replenish guest supplies and amenities
* Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
**General Duties**
* Follow all sanitation, safety, and hygiene guidelines
* Adhere to hotel policies and procedures at all times
* Assist guests with basic inquiries or requests in a polite and professional manner
* Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions
* Ensure timely completion of assigned daily tasks
**Qualifications & Skills**
* Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (not mandatory)
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is an advantage
* Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
