Job Summary:
The Medical Shop Staff assists customers in purchasing medicines and healthcare products, ensures proper inventory management, and supports the day-to-day operations of the medical store. The role requires basic knowledge of medicines, strong customer service skills, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
timing - 10am - 8:30 pm for female staff , and 11am - 10 pmfor male staff
Assist customers in finding and purchasing medicines, health supplements, and medical supplies.
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications as per store policies and under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Provide basic information on medicine usage, dosage, and storage, ensuring customers understand proper usage.
Maintain accurate records of sales, prescriptions, and inventory.
Manage stock, including ordering, receiving, and organizing medicines and medical supplies.
Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and expiry date checks of medicines.
Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Handle billing, cash registers, and payment processing efficiently.
Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance, including licenses and documentation for controlled drugs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy diploma/degree is a plus.
Prior experience in a medical store, pharmacy, or retail sales preferred.
Basic knowledge of medicines and healthcare products.
Familiarity with billing software and inventory management is an advantage.
