Job Purpose:

To provide high-quality nursing care to patients, support doctors and medical teams, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery in accordance with hospital policies and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients as per doctor s instructions

• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration)

• Administer medications and injections as prescribed

• Assist patients with daily activities and personal care

• Maintain patient hygiene, comfort, and safety

Clinical Support:

• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and rounds

• Prepare patients for medical procedures and surgeries

• Perform wound dressing, IV cannulation, catheterization, and sample collection

• Observe patient condition and report changes to doctors

Documentation & Records:

• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing notes

• Update treatment charts, medication records, and nursing care plans

• Ensure confidentiality of patient information

Infection Control & Safety:

• Follow infection control practices and hospital safety protocols

• Maintain cleanliness of wards and equipment

• Handle biomedical waste as per guidelines

Coordination & Communication:

• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and attendants

• Coordinate with other departments for patient care and services

• Provide basic health education to patients and family members
