The Middle School English Teacher ising. responsible for teaching students in grades 6 8 core English Language Arts skills, including reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and critical think. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive learning environment that helps students develop strong literacy skills and a love for reading and writing.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate English Language Arts lessons aligned with curriculum standards
Teach reading comprehension, writing (narrative, informational, and argumentative), grammar, vocabulary, and speaking skills
Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and discussion through literature and writing activities
Assess student progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams
Provide constructive feedback to support student growth
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Collaborate with other teachers, counselors, and administrators
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities
Bachelor s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master s preferred where applicable)
Valid teaching certification/license for middle school (as required by local regulations)
Strong knowledge of English Language Arts curriculum and standards
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to work effectively with middle school aged students
