Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in panel manufacturing to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, design, and implementation, with a proven track record of success in the panel manufacturing industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Panel Design & Development:
• Design, develop, and engineer electrical panels for various applications (e.g.. industrial, commercial, residential).
• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
• Select and specify appropriate electrical components (e.g., relays, contactors, circuit breakers, fuses).
• Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
Panel Manufacturing & Assembly:
• Oversee the panel manufacturing process, from initial assembly to final testing and commissioning.
• Guide and mentor technicians on proper assembly and wiring techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
Project Management
• Manage and coordinate electrical projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and contractors as needed.
Quality Control
• Conduct quality control inspections on all panels to ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to minimize errors and improve efficiency.
Technical Documentation:
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including panel drawings, test reports, and maintenance manuals.
Research & Development
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in electrical engineering and panel manufacturing technologies.
• Explore and implement new technologies and design methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3-4 years of experience in electrical panel design and manufacturing.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including AC/DC circuits, power systems, and control systems.
Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
