Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for safely transporting company staff, materials, or documents to designated locations while ensuring vehicle safety, cleanliness, and compliance with traffic laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly as assigned

• Transport staff, visitors, materials, or documents to required locations

• Ensure timely pickup and drop as per schedule

• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle

• Conduct routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, lights)

• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly

• Ensure all vehicle documents (RC, insurance, PUC) are valid

• Follow traffic rules and company safety policies at all times

• Assist with loading and unloading when required

• Maintain logbooks for trips, fuel usage, and maintenance

Required Skills & Competencies

• Valid driving license (LMV / HMV as applicable)

• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations

• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

• Punctual, reliable, and disciplined

• Polite behavior and good communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions and schedules

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum: 10th pass (preferred)

• Ability to read basic instructions and road signs

Preferred Experience

• Experience driving company or construction-site vehicles

• Familiarity with city and highway routes
