Operate borewell drilling rigs and related machinery efficiently and safely
Set up drilling equipment at site as per job requirements
Monitor drilling parameters such as depth, pressure, rotation, and water flow
Identify soil and rock formations during drilling
Install casing pipes, screens, and other borewell components
Conduct flushing, cleaning, and development of borewells
Assist in pump installation and test pumping when required
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment
Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment at all times
Maintain daily drilling logs, depth records, and material usage
Coordinate with supervisors, helpers, and site engineers
Ensure compliance with environmental and local groundwater regulations
Strong knowledge of borewell drilling techniques and equipment
Ability to read and understand drilling plans and instructions
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor conditions
Attention to safety and operational discipline
Teamwork and communication skills
Minimum education: 8th / 10th pass (preferred)
Certification or training in drilling operations is an advantage
Valid heavy vehicle or machinery operation license (if applicable)
2 5 years of experience as a Borewell Operator or Drilling Operator
Experience in rotary, DTH, or compressor drilling preferred
