Job Overview:

We are looking for a customer-focused, motivated, and knowledgeable Counter Sales Representative to join our team at [Jewelry Shop Name]. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and provide personalized assistance in selecting jewelry that suits their preferences and budget.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of jewelry products, including materials (gold, diamonds, silver, gemstones, etc.), and be able to advise customers on product care, trends, and specifications.

  • Sales Transactions: Process customer purchases accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and jewelry financing options. Ensure all transactions are processed quickly and efficiently.

  • Store Presentation: Keep the counter area clean and organized, ensuring all jewelry is displayed properly and attractively. Maintain high standards of visual merchandising.

  • Customer Support: Assist with returns, exchanges, and repairs in compliance with store policies, providing a smooth and customer-friendly process.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing stock levels, inventory tracking, and reporting any discrepancies to the store manager.

  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional items such as jewelry accessories, gift wrapping, and cleaning services to enhance the customer experience.

  • Maintain Security: Ensure all jewelry pieces are securely displayed and follow store security procedures to minimize the risk of theft or loss.

  • Sales Goals: Actively contribute to meeting store sales targets by promoting new arrivals, seasonal promotions, and special offers.

  • Team Collaboration: Work with other team members to ensure smooth operations, support during busy times, and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in a jewelry, luxury goods, or fashion environment, is a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively.

    • Excellent customer service orientation, with a friendly and approachable manner.
