Job Summary

The Counter Head is responsible for managing a specific jewellery counter (Gold / Diamond / Premium) by driving sales, handling high-value customers, and leading the counter team. The role ensures excellent customer experience, target achievement, and strict adherence to operational and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Management

• Manage end-to-end operations of the assigned jewellery counter

• Handle premium and high-value customers professionally

• Drive counter-level sales targets and improve conversion ratios

• Explain product features, gold purity, diamond certification, pricing, and schemes

• Build long-term customer relationships and ensure repeat business

Team Leadership

• Supervise, guide, and motivate sales executives at the counter

• Allocate duties and ensure smooth customer flow during peak hours

• Train team members on product knowledge and selling skills

• Monitor grooming, discipline, and customer service standards

Inventory & Operations

• Ensure accurate handling of stock, tagging, and counter inventory

• Coordinate daily opening and closing stock verification

• Follow company SOPs for safety, security, and loss prevention

• Support audits and internal checks
