**Position Title:** Cab Driver
**Employment Type:** Full-time / Part-time
**Overview**
A Cab Driver is responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations. This role involves excellent driving skills, strong knowledge of local routes, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Safely operate a taxi or cab in accordance with traffic laws and company guidelines.
* Pick up passengers from designated locations based on dispatch instructions or street hails.
* Assist passengers with entering/exiting the vehicle and handling luggage, when necessary.
* Determine the best routes to destinations using GPS systems, traffic updates, or local knowledge.
* Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
* Process payments using cash, credit, digital wallets, or company-approved methods.
* Keep trip records, mileage logs, and fuel usage when required.
* Provide excellent customer service to ensure a comfortable and positive passenger experience.
* Report any incidents, mechanical issues, or complaints to the company or dispatcher promptly.
**Qualifications & Skills**
* Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
* Taxi permit or commercial driving license (if required by local regulations).
* Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and landmarks.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage unexpected situations.
* Basic math skills for handling fares and change.
