**Job Title:** Accountant Data Finalisation & Audits
**Qualification:** B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter
**Department:** Accounts & Finance
**Reports To:** Accounts Manager / Finance Head
**Job Summary**
The Accountant Data Finalisation & Audits is responsible for finalising accounting data, preparing financial statements, and supporting internal and statutory audits. The role ensures accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial records, particularly for construction and project-based accounting.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Finalise monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting data
* Prepare trial balance, profit & loss account, and balance sheet
* Ensure proper accounting of project costs, revenues, and expenses
* Reconcile general ledger, sub-ledgers, and control accounts
* Perform bank, vendor, customer, and site account reconciliations
* Review and validate accounting entries made by junior staff
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
* Prepare schedules and supporting documents for statutory audits
* Coordinate with auditors and respond to audit queries
* Assist in GST and TDS reconciliation and audit requirements
* Ensure timely closure of books of accounts
* Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
**Required Qualifications**
* B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finalisation processes
