Job Summary:
The X-Ray Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and related equipment, ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians

• Position patients correctly to obtain accurate and high-quality images

• Operate and maintain X-ray and radiology equipment

• Follow radiation safety and protection protocols for patients and staff

• Ensure proper patient identification and explain procedures to patients

• Maintain imaging records and documentation

• Coordinate with radiologists and doctors for image review

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the radiology department

• Handle emergency imaging procedures when required

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Sc in X-Ray Technology or Radiology Technology

• Valid registration with relevant medical or paramedical council (if applicable)

• 0 5 years of experience in hospital or diagnostic center (freshers can apply)

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment

• Attention to detail and image quality control

• Understanding of radiation safety norms

• Good communication and patient-handling skills

• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
