**Position:** System Administrator
** Job Summary**
The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of the company s **servers, networks, security systems, and IT infrastructure**. The role involves system monitoring, troubleshooting, implementing security measures, and supporting users with advanced technical issues.
** Key Responsibilities**
**1. Server & System Management**
* Install, configure, and manage Windows/Linux servers
* Monitor server performance and ensure high availability
* Manage Active Directory (users, groups, policies)
* Manage file servers, DNS, DHCP, and domain controllers
**2. Network Administration**
* Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls
* Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
* Manage VPN setups and secure remote access
* Ensure network security and data protection
**3. Security & Backup Management**
* Implement and manage antivirus, firewall, endpoint protection
* Apply system patches and updates regularly
* Manage data backup and disaster recovery plans
* Monitor security logs and prevent unauthorized access
**4. User & Technical Support**
* Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support
* Resolve escalated hardware, software, and network problems
* Train employees on IT policies and security awareness
**5. System Documentation**
* Maintain system inventory and documentation
* Prepare reports on system performance and incidents
* Keep track of licenses, warranties, and IT assets
** Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor s Degree in IT / Computer Science / Electronics (BCA, B.Sc IT, B.Tech)
* Diploma in System Administration / Networking (optional)
** Preferred Certifications**
* **MCSA / MCSE (Microsoft)**
* **RHCSA / RHCE (Linux)**
* **CCNA / CCNP (Networking)**
* **CompTIA Security+ (Security)**
** Required Skills**
* Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux Server
* Good understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs
* Firewall configuration (Fortigate, Sophos, Cisco, etc.)
* Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
* Backup tools (Veeam, Acronis, etc.)
* Problem-solving and analytical skills
