The Supervisor is responsible for managing daily production activities in the furniture workshop, ensuring quality output, timely order completion, and smooth coordination between workers, management, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Supervision

Oversee daily furniture manufacturing activities (cutting, assembly, polishing, upholstery, etc.)

Allocate tasks to carpenters, helpers, machine operators, and polishers.

2. Quality Assurance

Inspect materials, measurements, finishing, and overall product quality.

Ensure all furniture is produced as per design specifications and company standards.

3. Team Management

Monitor worker performance and maintain discipline.

Train new workers and support skill development.

4. Material & Inventory Coordination

Ensure availability of materials: wood, hardware, polish, foam, fabric, etc.

Coordinate with store in-charge for material requests and stock updates.

5. Production Planning & Scheduling

Plan daily and weekly work based on customer orders.

Ensure timely completion of projects and reduce production delays.

6. Machine & Tool Monitoring

Keep track of machine usage and condition (saws, sanders, CNC, etc.).

Report maintenance needs to avoid downtime.

7. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare daily production reports for management.

Coordinate with design team, purchase team, and dispatch team.

Experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking industry

Strong leadership and team-management skills

Knowledge of furniture materials, tools, and production process

Ability to read design drawings (advantage)

Problem-solving and time-management skills

Basic computer knowledge (reporting)
