Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing products accurately and efficiently for shipment, ensuring that all items are properly wrapped, labeled, and ready for delivery. This position requires attention to detail, good physical stamina, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing Products:
  Efficiently pack products in boxes or crates, ensuring that they are protected from damage during transit. Use appropriate materials such as bubble wrap, foam, and packing peanuts.

• Labeling and Documentation:
  Accurately label each package with shipping details, barcodes, and any required documentation. Ensure correct addresses, handling instructions, and product details are displayed.

• Quality Control:
  Inspect the items for damage, defects, or discrepancies before packing. Report any issues to the supervisor immediately to avoid packing errors.

• Maintain Packing Area:
  Keep the packing station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary packing materials. Ensure that all packing supplies are well-maintained and report any shortages.

• Assist in Shipping Preparation:
  Help move packed items to the shipping area. Assist with sorting packages by destination and prepare shipments according to instructions.

• Follow Safety Procedures:
  Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while using packing equipment (e.g., box cutters, sealing machines). Wear appropriate protective gear when required.

• Collaborate with Team Members:
  Work closely with other warehouse employees, such as pickers and loaders, to ensure timely and accurate packing and shipping processes.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
  (Preferred but not required)
