Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. The role ensures that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design, review, and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as panels, transformers, motors, and switchgear
Plan and carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance
Identify faults and perform root cause analysis
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and statutory requirements
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams
Monitor power consumption and suggest energy-saving measures
Prepare technical reports and maintain documentation
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
Familiarity with AutoCAD and electrical design tools (preferred)
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong focus on safety and quality
Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering
0 5 years of relevant experience (depending on the position)
Work Environment
Manufacturing plants, steel plants, power plants, construction sites, or commercial facilities
May require shift duty or site-based work
