The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. The role ensures that electrical infrastructure and machinery operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and control systems for various applications.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation using CAD and related software.
Plan and oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in machinery, systems, and components.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, instrumentation) for integrated project execution.
Manage electrical materials, tools, and spare parts inventory.
Prepare project cost estimates, technical reports, and progress updates.
Stay updated with new technologies, electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC), and safety codes.
Ensure all work adheres to company safety policies and electrical safety protocols (e.g., lockout/tagout).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in electrical design, maintenance, or project engineering (depending on the role level).
Skills:
Strong knowledge of power systems, electrical distribution, control systems, and automation.
Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, EPLAN, etc.).
Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and instrumentation system
