Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chemist to support our minerals operations through laboratory analysis, quality control, and process optimization. The Chemist will analyze mineral samples, ensure product quality, support production teams, and contribute to research and development initiatives related to mineral processing and materials performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical and instrumental analysis of mineral ores, concentrates, and finished products

• Perform routine and advanced laboratory tests (e.g., XRF, ICP, AAS, wet chemistry)

• Ensure quality control and quality assurance of mineral products

• Prepare reagents, standards, and calibration materials

• Interpret analytical data and prepare technical reports

• Support mineral processing and production teams with chemical insights

• Assist in process improvement, troubleshooting, and optimization

• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards

• Follow environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations

• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in a minerals, mining, or materials laboratory (preferred)

• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory best practices

• Familiarity with mineral processing and geochemical analysis is an advantage

• Ability to analyze data and prepare clear technical reports

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
