By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using Root Placement ("we", "our", or "the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.
You must be legally permitted to enter employment or professional networking relationships in your jurisdiction to use Root Placement.
Eligibility
To use Root Placement, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be barred from using the App under applicable law

We may refuse service, suspend, or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for:

- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Nature of the Service
Root Placement is a platform that connects job seekers, recruiters, and professionals. It allows users to:
- Create professional profiles
- Search and discover job opportunities
- Apply for jobs and submit application materials
- Connect and network with other professionals
- Post and interact with professional content
- Communicate through in-app messaging
User Conduct
When using Root Placement, you agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profile information
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
- Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing
- Use the App for unsolicited advertising, spam, or scraping
- Attempt to bypass security, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App's operation
- Collect other users' personal information without consent
- Request unlawful fees or payment as a condition of employment
- Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion.
Job Postings & Recruiter Responsibilities
Recruiters and employers who post jobs on Root Placement represent that:
- They have the legal right to post the opportunity
- The listing is accurate, current, and not misleading
- The position complies with applicable labor and employment laws
- They will not charge candidates any fee to apply or be considered
- They will handle applicant information responsibly and lawfully
We may remove any job posting that appears fraudulent, discriminatory, or in violation of these Terms, without notice.
Applicant Responsibilities
As a job seeker, you agree that:
- Information in your profile, resume, and applications is accurate and truthful
- You will not apply to positions using false credentials or misrepresented experience
- You are solely responsible for your interactions and agreements with recruiters or employers
- You will exercise reasonable judgment and caution when sharing personal information
User Content & Licence
You retain ownership of the content you submit, including your profile, resume, posts, images, and messages ("User Content").
By submitting User Content, you grant Root Placement a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it as necessary to operate and provide the App's features, including sharing your application materials with recruiters when you apply for a job.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you submit, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
We may remove any User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Intellectual Property
The Root Placement name, logo, app design, source code, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content, nor reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except where permitted by law.
Third-Party Services & Links
The App may integrate with or link to third-party services, including authentication, payment, cloud storage, and analytics providers.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Subscriptions & Payments
Certain features of Root Placement may require a paid subscription or one-time payment.
Where applicable:
- Prices, features, and billing cycles will be disclosed before purchase
- Payments are processed through supported third-party payment processors
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law
We may change pricing or subscription plans with reasonable notice.
Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms or our policies
- We suspect fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity

Disclaimers

We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Job listings or user profiles are accurate, complete, or current
- Using the App will result in employment or hiring outcomes
- Any defects will be corrected
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Root Placement and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Root Placement and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
